1st Alderbury Beavers are Aiming High

On Friday 26th September the 1st Alderbury Beaver Colony were treated to a drama class held by Kitty Love from Romsey School. The Beavers mimicked having their photographs taken, transported to the moon on a rocket ship and were turned into Zombies. Great fun was had by all.

To complete the evening the Beavers were presented their badges obtained over recent months by ADC Beavers Graham Murrell , of which four beavers were presented the Chief Scouts Bronze Award. This is the highest award which can be gained by Beaver Scouts and in order to attain it, Beaver Scouts must have completed six Challenge Awards by the time they join Cub Scouts.

1st Alderbury Beavers now have eight Beavers in receipt of the Bronze award, in attendance. This is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates an outstanding example of the Scouting community.
