6th Salisbury Air Scouts Awarded their Aviation Badge

6th Salisbury Air Scouts recently visited Old Sarum Air Museum to complete their Aviation Skills Activity Badge.
In order to qualify for the badge they had to be able to learn and list the main types of aircraft, identify the parts of an aeroplane, they were required to draw a map of an airfield marking out the different areas and learn and demonstrate an understanding of how a runway works. They also undertook the task of making a bi-plane for the Lantern Parade.
6th Salisbury’s Leader “Adrian Lock” stated that they all did exceptionally well and he is extremely proud of their achievements.
